During the growing season from March to November, farmer florist Evelyn Lee creates a parade of hand-tied, English garden bouquets and arrangements with flowers, fruits, seeds, branches and other interesting natural botanical elements from the several hundred varieties locally-grown.
A popular and flexible subscription service delivers farm-fresh flowers weekly, bi-monthly or monthly to homes in Fairfield and Westport enabling others to relish the subtle surprises of each successive season.
Lee's goal is to bring the beauty, fragrance and variety of freshly-cut flowers to special events and into daily lives, and to bring flower farming and the long-lost glory of cutting gardens back home. Garden and floral design workshops are planned for the 2015 growing season.
