The boutique, three years old in September, has garnered a host of national and local awards, making Krauss feel incredibly proud and humbled.

“Our success is truly a group effort and I am consistently thankful for the dedication of my team in carrying out the mission I set forth when we opened in 2012," said Krauss, a Wilton resident.

Among her accolades: being selected as one of Brides Magazines Best Bridal Salons in America. ALSW also won The Knot’s Best of Weddings 2015 and Wedding Wire’s Couple’s Choice Award 2015. The store was also crowned with Best Bridal Store in their Best of Gold Coast 2015 Awards and in 2014, Krauss was voted as one of Fairfield County’s 40 Business People Under 40.

So what’s next for this bustling bridal boutique? Krauss, the mother of two young sons, plans on welcoming Mira Zwillinger, one of Israel’s top bridal designers. She also continues to expand her 2015 product offerings to include Heidi Elnora, in addition to the many designers she already carefully curates. And, she's added Kelly Faetanini and Jim Hjelm Occasions as bridesmaids’ designers.

In other big news, she hopes to expand within the town of Darien.

"We would love to grow the physical size of our space," explaind Krauss. "And as always, we are exploring ways to elevate the customer experience to something extraordinary!”

She stresses that she couldn't have had the success she's had without the "wonderful Darien community."

Said Krauss: "I feel so fortunate that my business set its roots in this wonderful town."

ALSW is located at 1292 Boston Post Rd., (203) 309-511, www.alittlesomethingwhite.com/.
