Debra Hanson Brings Extensive Experience To Wilton Chamber

WILTON, Conn. -- Debra Hanson replaced Janeen Leppert as executive director of the Wilton Chamber of Commerce, but she brings loads of experience to the position, reports Wilton Bulletin.

Hanson previously served three three-year terms on the board of directors of the chamber along with a one-year stint as president before being appointed three weeks ago as the only full-time employee, reports Wilton Bulletin.

Chamber President Mark Ketley cited her breadth of experience not only with the chamber but in marketing and advertising, where she got her start, reports Wilton Bulletin.

She's already produced the first two events of the year for the chamber: the annual Economic Forecast Breakfast on Jan. 14 and Business After Hours at Bankwell a week later on Jan. 21.
