Uber App Delivers Deal For Free Beach Bags Across Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Uber is offering more than just rides on Friday across Fairfield County, according to the Hartford Courant.

The Uber bag appears to be filled with sandals, headphones, a magazine, sunscreen and more.

"We're helping you #MakeYourGetaway. Start thinking about your destination + follow us at 9am for details," Uber Connecticut said via Twitter ‏@Uber_CONN.

But here's the deal, according to the Courant: Open the Uber app between between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., enter promo code "BEACHBAG" and request "BEACH BAGS."

You don't even need to schedule a ride, but an Uber brand ambassador will deliver a free beach bag of goodies (see photo above) to you.
