Webster Wealth Advisors From Wilton Win 5 Star Wealth Manager Award

WILTON, Conn. -- Joe M. Cox II, senior vice president, senior investment manager, and Chris Perry, senior vice president, senior managing director, of Webster Wealth Advisors Inc. located in Wilton, were named Five Star Wealth managers in Connecticut.

This is the fifth consecutive year for Cox and the fourth consecutive year for Perry to have received this honor.

The Five Star professional program is one of the largest and most widely published financial services award programs in North America. 

Those selected are evaluated against 10-point objective criteria, including client retention and favorable regulatory history.

Cox grew up in Wilton and lives in New Canaan. He holds a CFP certification and AAMS, CRPC, and AIF designations. 

He is a active in the community, having ridden several times in the Tour de Cure and raised thousands of dollars for children with diabetes. 

His bachelor's degree is from Johns Hopkins University in biochemistry and his financial planning certification is from The American College.

Perry, a Wilton native, also holds the CFPcertification and is an investment advisor representative of Commonwealth Financial Network. 

He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations as well as life, health, accident, and variable insurance licenses. 

He is active in the community, serving as Senior Warden at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. 

He has served on the Board of Trustees and as Alumni Association President for both Camp Dudley and the Kent School. 

Locally, he continues to serve as a leader for the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts in Wilton as well as youth sports coach and as an advisor to the Wilton Student Financial Aid committee. 

His bachelor's degree is from Williams College and his financial planning certification is from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colo.
