The Wilton Class Projects have been sponsored by the Wilton Youth Council since 1987. Class projects provide drug- and alcohol-free social or educational events for the parents and teens of each individual class. They offer an opportunity for parents to meet, network and support one another in dealing effectively with adolescent issues. The events also serve as fundraisers for the class.

The class project parent volunteers take over Middlebrook School and entirely transform the many areas of the school by creating unique backdrops that transform Middlebrook into a magical wonderland completely unrecognizable to the graduating seniors.

The annual Post Graduation Party was implemented to provide a safe environment for students to celebrate the night of their graduation. The party is an all-night event that allows graduating seniors to remain safe, sober and stay together in one room, one last time.

“We are grateful that Westy has provided us a place to work on our decorations and store our materials,” said Shawn Kahal of The Wilton Class Projects. “Since we are working with a tight budget, it is extremely helpful that Westy has donated a storage unit to us. We couldn’t ask for a more clean, secure location.”

“We are happy to assist with The Wilton Class Projects. The Post Graduation Party is an outstanding concept in which the students can have fun yet remain safe,” said Joe Schweyer, district director of Westy Self Storage, Wilton location. “We put forth great effort and pride when supporting the communities we are fortunate to be a part of.”
