“We are eager to hear an expert like Dr. Perna comment about the 2014 economic results and what is expected in 2015 for the housing market, the future for small businesses, and whether political changes in Connecticut will affect our economic climate," Chamber President Patrick Russo said in a statement. "Dr. Perna will also answer questions on the best investment strategies in the coming year.”

Perna is a magna cum laude graduate of Boston College and holds a doctorate in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His economic backgrounds include time with General Electric, The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Connecticut National Bank and the President’s Council of Economic Advisors.
