Under the terms of the agreement, Cloud9-IT’s assets and client bases will be incorporated into Absolute Logic’s, according to founder and CEO of Absolute Logic Al Alper of Wilton. He did not disclose the acquisition price. The acquisition was made on Feb. 3.

Cloud9-IT, founded in 2010 by Lars Andersson of New Canaan, served the IT needs of businesses in Fairfield and New Haven counties. Andersson will join Absolute Logic in the capacity of business development specialist. One of Cloud9-IT’s support people will join the team as well. In a statement, Alper said Cloud9-IT’s clients can expect a seamless transition.

“Other than receiving correspondence under the Absolute Logic name, much of the day-to-day interaction for the clients will be no different,” he said. “Those who are used to working with Lars will of course continue to do so. What we will offer additionally is extra tech support and resources, which we believe will make an already excellent client experience even better.”

Alper also said in the release that there are plans for an open house later this year, at which clients will be able to meet the expanded team and tour Absolute Logic’s Wilton facility. Absolute Logic, founded in 1991, serves Connecticut and New York businesses.
