Stamford Family Shares Love for Fall

STAMFORD, Conn. – When the leaves begin to change color, you are sure to find the McCarthy family down at Cove Island Park in Stamford, taking in the fall weather. Bill and Cathy McCarthy and their daughters Faith and Katie love to play “Catch the Leaves,” as each tries to snag the most falling leaves before they hit the ground.

In addition to their little competition, the Stamford family also likes to go out at night with mugs of hot chocolate and wander through their neighborhood to look at Halloween decorations.

“My family loves autumn. It's our favorite time of year,” Cathy McCarthy said in an email.
