WILTON, Conn. – “Today” show host Hoda Kotb is expected to draw a crowd when she visits Wilton Library on Friday. So you may want to let the library know if you want to see her.

Kotb will visit the library at 7 p.m. Friday to discuss her book "Ten Years Later," a tome in which she chronicles six lives, identifies game-changing events and then revisits those people a decade later.

The library has already received more than 600 registration requests for the event, spokeswoman Janet Crystal said. Many people are excited to meet and see the popular television host and NBC News correspondent, she said. They are also attracted to the stories of the lives Kotb has covered.

“She’s a national presence … and she has a huge following, so Wilton is interested in seeing her,” Crystal said. “I think the book is an affirmation of perseverance and that’s uplifting. And because she’s Hoda.”

Kotb was named co-anchor of the fourth hour of "Today" in August 2007. She has also been a "Dateline NBC" correspondent since April 1998 and is a New York Times bestselling author for her book, "Hoda."

Crystal said Kotb’s appearance is proving just as popular as the Wilton visits of author Ann Patchett and actor Christopher Plummer.

To register for Kotb’s visit, call Wilton Library at 203-762-3950.
