HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The Hastings swim team had a great week in the pool, winning meets against Ardsley Country Club on July 14 and Mamaroneck Swim Club on July 15 to run its record to 3-0 early in the Westchester Swim Conference summer season. Kate Diep, Leana Trager, Luca DeNovellis and Christian Macaluso each won three events in a 206-172 victory over Ardsley. Alessandro DeNovellis Sam Andrews and Brian Wu won two events apiece to help lift the host Hastings team in a meet at Chemka Poll in Hastings. Luc Fararra won two events for Ardsley. On July 15, Nicklous Macaluso and Lea Distelhurst led the way with three victories and Luca DeNovellis, Alessandro DeNovellis, Christian Macaluso, Sam Andrews, James Macaluso, Allison Lemischak and Sophia Macaluso each won twice for Hastings in a 237-198 victory over Mamaroneck. David Belisle and Sabinka Teran led Mamaroneck with three wins. Olivia Chen and Isabel Mikheev won two races each for Hastings.
