Police Report Burglary in Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Pleasantville Police Officers responded to a call from a Pleasantville resident who police said reported that their apartment was broken into on the evening of March 26.  Police said the female resident of 29 Hobby St. reported that shortly after 6 p.m. she came home to realize that the apartment was entered and items were missing. Police ruled the incident a burglary and would not release any information about items taken from the location as the incident is under investigation.

In other blotter news…

Criminal Mischief: A Pleasantville resident reported to police around 1 p.m. on March 28 that a village speed limit sign had been vandalized. The sign, located on Weskora Avenue, was vandalized using red spray paint, according to police. The incident is under investigation and no arrest has been made. 

Pleasantville Police Officers responded to a total of 68 calls from March 21 through March 28.
