Tuesday, May 15

 

Bouncing Babies: 11:15 a.m. Warner Library hosts a lap-sit program for caregivers and babies who are not yet walking. 121 North Broadway, Tarrytown.

 

Sleepy Hollow Board of Trustees: 7 p.m. The board of trustees will meet to discuss several items of note, including a rental policy for the Galgano Senior Center and Village Fees.

 

Public Schools of the Tarrytowns Budget Vote and School Board Elections: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tarrytown residents vote at Washington Irving. Sleepy Hollow Residents vote at Morse Elementary. Vote tally will take place at John Paulding after the polls close. 200 North Broadway, Sleepy Hollow.

 

Pocantico Hills Central School District Budget Vote and School Board Elections: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Voting takes place in the School Library. 599 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills.

 

Wednesday, May 16

 

Senior Benefits: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Senior Benefits Information Center helps older adults and caregivers find information about government benefits. Warner Library, 121 North Broadway, Tarrytown.

 

Sleepy Hollow Zoning Board of Appeals: 8 p.m. The zoning board of appeals will discuss several items of note, including a proposed College Avenue grocery store. Village Hall, 28 Beekman Ave., Sleepy Hollow.

 

Fourth and Fifth-Grade Spring Concert: 7 p.m. Washington Irving students present a spring concert. 103 South Broadway, Tarrytown.

 

Thursday, May 17

 

Great Opera Voices: 3 to 4:30 p.m. Susan Grunthal leads a discussion on great opera singers. Warner Library, 121 North Broadway, Tarrytown.

 

Indian Point Safety Assessment Meeting: 6 p.m. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will hold a public meeting on Indian Point at the DoubleTree Hotel. Open House begins at 6 p.m. The presentation begins at 7 p.m. 455 South Broadway, Tarrytown.

 

Hudson River Lighthouses: 7 p.m. Kevin Woyce discusses the many lighthouses that sit on the Hudson River. Warner Library, 121 North Broadway, Tarrytown.

 

Sleepy Hollow Planning Board: 7:30 p.m. The planning board discusses several items of note, including the Open Door Medical Facility, the Philipse Manor Beach Club and the Salvation Army. Village Hall, 28 Beekman Ave., Sleepy Hollow.
