Equipment, Cellphone Stolen Off Landscaper's Truck In Easton, Police Say

EASTON, Conn. — A brazen thief in Easton drove up to a landscaper's vehicle and stole several pieces of equipment and a cellphone, police said 

The theft was reported on Hillside Drive in Easton, police said.

The larceny occurred at about 12:23 p.m. on June 17 on Hillside Drive, police said. 

The homeowner reported the theft and said the suspect was driving a dark-colored car, police said. 

The case remains under investigation, police said.
