Police ID Victim Killed In Bayonne As 23-Year-Old NY Man

Police have identified the victim killed in a Bayonne shooting early Wednesday, July 27 as a New York man.

Damoi Davauni Campbell, 23, was killed near 21st Street and Avenue A around 4:30 a.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cause and Manner of Death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and Bayonne Police Department are actively investigating this case.
