Keep Kids Busy On Presidents Day In Wilton

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Most kids in Fairfield County will be out of school with nothing to do on Presidents Day. Thankfully, there are plenty of programs in the area to keep everyone busy on the day off. 

Several venues around Fairfield County will be hosting kid-friendly events on Presidents Day.

Greenwich:

  • The Bruce Museum will host an arts-and-crafts workshop for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade from 10 a.m. to noon. 

Norwalk:

  • The Stepping Stones Museum for Children will be open regular hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • The Maritime Aquarium's new exhibit, featuring the black dragon and other animals that have the word dragon in their names, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Bridgeport:

  • The Beardsley Zoo will be open regular hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Stamford:

Fairfield:

  • Master storyteller Lot Therrio will enchant the audience with his stories of heroes and bravery from all over the world at the Fairfield Museum and History Center at 2:30 p.m.

Ridgefield:

  • Children and family members are invited to the Aldrich Museum to create mixed-media mobiles from 2 to 4 p.m. 

Wilton

  • Kids are invited to join the Lego Club at the Wilton Library from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

Darien:

  • The Darien Library will host a screening of "The Princess and the Frog" at 2 p.m. in honor of Black History month.
