Kids, have you ever wanted to go to a real 1950s Sock Hop? This is your chance to listen to the rocking sounds of the ’50s while taking part in hula-hoop contests, a ’50s trivia program and an Elvis look-alike contest.

You can enjoy retro snacks such as candy and root beer floats and look for some fun giveaways, too. So put on your saddle shoes and poodle skirts, head on down to the hop!

For kids in kindergarten and up with their caregivers. The event is sponsored by the Coyle Family Young Readers Fund.

The Wilton Library is at137 Old Ridgefield Road. Call 203-762-3950 for more information.
