'Minks To Sinks' Sale Returns To Wilton This Weekend

WILTON, Conn. -- The popular fall Minks to Sinks sale in Wilton to benefit Family & Children’s Agency will be held this weekend at 395 Danbury Road.

The sale begins Saturday at 9 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. Sunday hours are noon to 4 p.m., and Monday hours are 9 a.m. to noon.

Known as the “biggest treasure hunt in town,” the biannual sale features thousands of donated and consigned items, including clothing, children’s toys, books, electronics, furniture, kitchenware, home decor and much more. The sale also historically include sinks and at least one mink, event organizers say.

The sale takes place under the giant white tents set up near the Wilton High School tennis courts at the intersection of Danbury and School Roads.

Minks to Sinks was founded in 1931 in Wilton. Nearly 200 volunteers from around Wilton help with the semiannual sale, pricing and ticketing, organizing and displaying for the sale.

The sale supports FCA, a leadning nonprofit human service organization committed to increasing the social and emotional well-being of its clients. FCA provides strength-based, solution focused services that respond to the individual needs of children & families, youth, adults, and seniors.
