WILTON, Conn. -- The Music on the Hill Summer Chorus will perform the music of J.S. Bach at 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 48 New Canaan Road, Wilton.

The concert will feature three joyful and spirited Bach cantatas, performed by the 60-voice chorus with soloists and chamber orchestra, as well as the final movement of the Mass in B-minor (Dona Nobis Pacem).

Tickets are $20 purchased in advance at www.musiconthehillCT.org or $25 at the door. Students are admitted free.

A reception follows the concert.

Music on the Hill also will offer a series of Summer Sings every Tuesday evening in August beginning Aug. 4. Each week will feature a different choral classic with a different conductor. All singers are welcome, including high school students and adults who have been too long away from singing.
