Norwalk's Karate Universe Holding Diabetes Fundraiser In Wilton

NORWALK, Conn. -- Karate Universe, partnering with the American Diabetes Association, is holding its annual Kicks for Kids fundraising event on Saturday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. 

In it's 23rd year raising funds with Kicks for Kids, Karate Universe has raised over $84,000 in that time for the cause.

Students will raise money at the which event will be held at Merwin Meadows Pond in Wilton. Money raised by the students will help children and adults who live with diabetes on a daily basis.

The Demo Team, know for their fire breaks and high intensity events, will perform during the Kick A Thon.  

This is Karate Universe's 23rd year of raising funds with Kicks for Kids. In that time, Karate Universe has raised over $84,000 for the cause.

Anyone wanting to attend the performance can come and donate at the door. Others are welcome to drop donations off at Karate Universe on Monday to Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. at 666 Main Ave., Norwalk. Call 203-849-1234 for more information.
