Spin With Wilton Police To Fight Domestic Violence

WILTON, Conn. -- Participants are invited to join Wilton police officers Friday, Oct. 14 for spin and Zumba classes that take aim at domestic violence.

The Wilton PBA is teaming with the Riverbrook Regional YMCA to hold a spinning fundraiser to fight domestic violence.

The Wilton Police Benevolent Association and Riverbrook Regional YMCA partnership offers this Zumba and spinning event to raise money for the Domestic Violence Crisis Center

The Norwalk-based center serving Wilton, Norwalk, Stamford, Darien, Weston, New Canaan, and Westport has a mission to end domestic violence. The fundraiser is aptly timed, as October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Participants may register for Zumba or spinning classes for the event, which will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Wilton Family YMCA, 404 Danbury Road, Wilton.

There is a minimum donation of $25 for individuals and $35 for families, which can be paid online.
