STAMFORD, Conn. – Author and television host Mike Greenberg of Westport will be the featured speaker at StarWrite on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa. The fourth annual author’s luncheon begins at 11 a.m. and is hosted by Connecticut Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Greenberg has written three books and is also the morning host with Mike Golic of ESPN’s "Mike and Mike in the Morning." His latest book is a novel, "All You Could Ask For."
“We are so thrilled to have Mike Greenberg as our guest speaker for our fourth annual event,” said Jeannie Montano, executive director. “Mike’s most recent work deals with friendship and cancer and all that comes with it. It’s a topic everyone can relate to. To have Mike support our LLS mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families is tremendous.”
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society hopes to raise more than $30,000 during the event, which will also include networking, an auction, and book signing. Tickets for StarWrite start at $75 per person. Sponsorships are also available starting at $750. For information or to purchase tickets, call 203-665-1400, or visit the event website at www.lls.org/ct/starwrite.
