Friday, Dec. 28
Fiber Fridays at Wilton Historical Society: 10 a.m. to noon. Come to stitch and chat about your handwork, ask questions, share stories and discuss anything else that comes to mind. All are welcome. Discover more about the Wilton Historical Society's fiber arts while working on your own projects – knitting, stitching, hooking, crocheting, weaving. Coffee and tea will be served. Host Arlene Parkhurst will be available to untangle your questions. Admission is free for Historical Society members, $10 for non-members. Wilton Historical Society, 224 Danbury Road.

Great Trains Holiday Exhibit at Wilton Historical Society: noon to 4 p.m. The Wilton Historical Society will have display its Great Trains holiday exhibit. Come and see a variety of trains. Tickets are free for historical society members, $10 for non-members. Wilton Historical Society, 224 Danbury Road. Sunday, Dec. 30
Joel Oppenheimer Gallery at Audubon Greenwich: noon to 5 p.m. The Oppenheimer Gallery will feature four exhibits a year in the newly renovated Kiernan Hall. The first exhibition will explore all the editions of Audubon's work in the 19th century, showing comparative examples of nine prints in the Havell, Bien, Octavo and watercolor editions. The subjects to be featured in the exhibit are the Osprey, the Great Blue Heron, the Carolina Parrot, the Gyr Falcon, the Great Egret, the Passenger Pigeon, the Louisiana Heron, the Ruby Throated Hummingbird and the Dusky Duck.
