Tuesday, Feb. 19 Tuesday Book Buzz at Wilton Library: 11 a.m. to noon. There will be a "Book Buzz" conversation moderated by one of Wilton Library’s reference librarians on the third Tuesday of each month. Participants are encouraged to go and chat about one of their most recent favorite reads or just listen to what others recommend. Registration suggested but not required. Wilton Board of Finance: 7:30 p.m. The board will have its regular meeting. Wilton Town Hall, 238 Danbury Road.
Wednesday, Feb . 20 Creation Station at Wilton Library: 4 to 5 p.m. Each week, different materials will be available for children in grades K-5 to make any creation they choose. This is an opportunity for children to innovate, communicate, and express themselves in a free-form environment. Some materials that may be available are Legos, arts and crafts materials, model cars, Lego Technics, science kits and more. The program is for children in grades K-5 with caregivers in the building. Thursday, Feb. 21 Author Carol Wallace at Wilton Library: 8:30 p.m. Are you "Downton Abbey" crazy like the rest of us? Meet author Carol Wallace as she discusses the novel she co-wrote, “To Marry an English Lord.” Hear about young American heiresses, cold-shouldered by an entrenched aristocracy that scorned new money so they looked across the sea to find husbands among titled young Englishmen who were long on status but short on cash. Friday, Feb. 22 The Lounge at Wilton Library: 3:30 to 5 p.m. Children in grades 1 and up are invited to play video games on the Wilton Library’s Nintendo Wii system. Comfortable seating will be available. Caregivers must remain in the building for children younger than 12. The room will be open every Friday as long as there is available staff.
