What To Do in Wilton This Weekend

WILTON, Conn. – Here are a few highlights of things to do in and around Wilton this weekend.  See our Events Calendar for more items.

Friday, Dec. 14 Screening and Discussion of “Middlemarch” at Wilton Library: 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The final portion of the film version of Middlemarch will be shown in the Brubeck Room with a brief question-and-answer session following the film. Viewers are invited to bring brown bag lunches to eat during or after the film and the library will provide coffee, tea, water and chips. Please note copies of the book will be available in the book area for advance reading. Registration is highly recommended. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Saturday, Dec. 15 Great Trains Holiday Exhibit at Wilton Historical Society:  11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Wilton Historical Society will have its Great Trains holiday exhibit. Come and see a variety of trains. The exhibit runs through Dec. 21. Tickets are free for historical society members and $10 for non-members. Wilton Historical Society, 224 Danbury Road. 

Sunday, Dec. 16 A Visit with Santa Claus at Wilton Library: 1 to 5 p.m.  Children of all ages are invited to stop by and visit with Santa at the Library’s Holiday Book Sale. Santa will be available for pictures from 1 to 3 p.m. and 3:30 to 5 p.m. Caregivers must be present. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
