Wonderful Ones and Twos At Wilton Library: 11 to 11:30 a.m. Last session of program, which is a sharing time for toddlers and their caregivers. The finger plays, songs, books and activities are selected to introduce children to the library and to story times. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Tuesday Book Buzz at Wilton Library: 11 a.m. to noon. A Book Buzz conversation will be moderated by one of Wilton Librarys reference librarians. Participants are encouraged to chat about one of their most recent favorite reads or just listen to what others recommend. Registration suggested but not required. Falconry and the Medieval World at Wilton Library: 3 p.m. Children ages 5 and up are invited to a fascinating falconry program. Wingmasters will bring along several live birds-of-prey and talk about the biology of birds, hunting and their use in the Middle Ages. Among the winged guests will be a Peregrine falcon, a hawk, and a golden eagle. This is a unique opportunity to see these birds up close. Registration is required. Wilton Farmers Market : 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The weekly outdoor market will feature local produce, cheeses and baked goods. It is supported by the Wilton Chamber of Commerce, the Wilton Historical Society and the Wilton Library. The market is comprised of local farmers and artisans who come together to provide shoppers a venue in which to purchase the freshest products from local vendors. Wilton Historical Society Gift Shop Sale: 2 to 5 p.m. The Wilton Historical Society Gift Shop is having a huge summer clearance sale. Most of the shops stock is 50 percent off. End of Summer Teen Program at Wilton Library: 3 p.m. Come celebrate the end of the teen summer reading program. Make your own ice cream sundaes, play video games and find out the winner of the programs grand prize. The program is for teens entering grades 6 to 12. Registration is suggested.
