Monday, Aug. 13

Drop-In Summer Crafts at Wilton Library: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Children of all ages can stop by during regular library hours and make a Medieval-themed craft to take home.  Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Tuesday, Aug. 14

Wonderful Ones and Twos At Wilton Library: 11 to 11:30 a.m.  Last session of program, which is a sharing time for toddlers and their caregivers. The finger plays, songs, books and activities are selected to introduce children to the library and to story times. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Tuesday Book Buzz at Wilton Library: 11 a.m. to noon. A Book Buzz conversation will be moderated by one of Wilton Library’s reference librarians. Participants are encouraged to chat about one of their most recent favorite reads or just listen to what others recommend. Registration suggested but not required. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Falconry and the Medieval World at Wilton Library: 3 p.m. Children ages 5 and up are invited to a fascinating falconry program. Wingmasters will bring along several live birds-of-prey and talk about the biology of birds, hunting and their use in the Middle Ages. Among the winged guests will be a Peregrine falcon, a hawk, and a golden eagle. This is a unique opportunity to see these birds up close. Registration is required. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Wilton Deer Commission meeting: 6:30 p.m. The deer commission will have its regular meeting. Wilton Town Hall, 238 Danbury Road.

Wednesday, Aug. 15

Wilton Farmers Market : 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.  The weekly outdoor market will feature local produce, cheeses and baked goods. It is supported by the Wilton Chamber of Commerce, the Wilton Historical Society and the Wilton Library.  The market is comprised of local farmers and artisans who come together to provide shoppers a venue in which to purchase the freshest products from local vendors. Wilton Historical Society, 224 Danbury Road.

Wilton Historical Society Gift Shop Sale: 2 to 5 p.m. The Wilton Historical Society Gift Shop is having a huge summer clearance sale. Most of the shop’s stock is 50 percent off. Come visit during the Wilton Farmer’s Market and check out the assortment of decorative items, soaps, holiday ideas and more. Wilton Historical Society, 224 Danbury Road.

Thursday, Aug. 16

End of Summer Teen Program at Wilton Library: 3 p.m. Come celebrate the end of the teen summer reading program. Make your own ice cream sundaes, play video games and find out the winner of the program’s grand prize. The program is for teens entering grades 6 to 12. Registration is suggested. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Friday, Aug. 17

Medieval Movies at Wilton Library: 10:15 a.m. to noon. The library will show “The Sword in the Stone.” Snacks will be provided. All ages are invited with caregivers. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Friday Flick: 2 to 3:45 p.m. "Journey 2: Mysterious Island," rated PG, will be shown. Snacks provided. All ages welcome with caregivers. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
