- 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4;
- noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5; and
- 9 a.m.-noon Monday, Oct. 6.
Minks to Sinks hosts two tag sales each year as fundraisers. Items sold include art, athletic equipment, books, clothing, furniture, kitchen items and more. Proceeds benefit Norwalk's Family & Children’s Agency.
An FCA auxiliary, Minks to Sinks was founded in 1931 in Wilton. Nearly 200 volunteers from around Wilton help with the semiannual sale, pricing and ticketing, organizing and displaying for the sale.
“Family & Children’s Agency’s relationship with Minks to Sinks dates back as far as the 1950s,” said Robert F. Cashel, president and CEO of FCA. “In that time period, Minks to Sinks has donated roughly $2.9 million to FCA. We are grateful each year for their wonderful work.”
On Sunday and Monday of the sale, all items will be 50 percent off the original prices. On Monday, those who attend will be able to fill a bag with any kind of merchandise and may purchase the bag for $7.
