The exhibit is on display at the Sorelle Gallery, 84 Main St., New Canaan.

Developed by Circle of Care, “There Is…Life Within the Journey” features an emotional and intimate look at children with cancer and the characteristics of an authentic journey through pediatric cancer treatment.

The exhibit offers an alternative view of childhood cancer and features more than 20 images of children from communities across Connecticut. The moments are delicately captured by photographer and New Canaan resident Jeanna Shepard.

The exhibit will travel to at least nine different communities throughout the state over the next year, primarily in public galleries.

Circle of Care is the Wilton-based nonprofit that provides comprehensive peer support to families of children with cancer.
