WILTON, Conn. – A total of 15 units was damaged Sunday by a fire at Wilton Crest.

According to Wilton Fire Chief Paul Milositz, the fire started in a building at the center of a grouping, making it difficult for the firefighters to access.

“We eventually had to put up a ladder truck to use the large-diameter hose that comes with the ladder truck to spray from above to help extinguish the blaze,” Milositz said.
