The first couple of Ridgefield will be honored at the event’s opening night party on Friday, Nov. 17, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

The event will include performances from Broadway stars Katie Diamond, Daniel Levine, Bryan Perri, and Daniela Sikora. The master of ceremonies will be Ira Joe Fisher, with a salute from Allison Stockel of the Ridgefield Playhouse.

Peggy Marconi, a Realtor with Newmann Real Estate, is a member of the Ann’s Place Board of Directors. She has created and co-chairs a Spring Fashion Show, which has provided critical funding for Ann’s Place over her three-year tenure.

The event will be in a new location this year — at Danbury’s Crowne Plaza Hotel. Tickets are $140 per person to the opening night party.

Every year, thousands of people attend the festival, which will be held Friday, Nov. 17, through Sunday, Nov. 19, at the Crowne Plaza. The event includes more than 100 holiday trees, along with live entertainment, a raffle and specialty vendors.

The Festival of Tress has raised over $2.5 million over the years for Ann's Place, which has about 1,300 clients annually. It funds about 20 percent of the organization's services, which include support groups, individual counseling, nutrition classes, and wellness activities.

The Festival of Trees will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday an Sunday. Tickets prices are $10 for adults; $5 for children 12 and under and seniors 65 and over; and free for kids 5 and under.
