After several successful years in Kennedy Park, the farmers market will move to the CityCenter Green because it needs more space.

“With more farmers and vendors wanting to participate, we just ran out of space,” says Pat Hembrook, managing director at CityCenter Danbury. “We feel that the Green will give us the extra space the vendors need. And the parking at Patriot Garage, steps away from the Green, is perfect.”

The market still has room for vendors interested in selling farm-fresh eggs, cheese, meat products and prepared foods. There is also space for food trucks to park next to the market.

A new addition this year will be food samples prepared by a registered dietitian/nutritionist using food from the market.

Free parking will be available at the Patriot Garage with proof of purchase. The Farmers Market will run every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Oct. 21. For more information visit www.DanburyFarmersMarket.org.
