NY Times Reviews 'Things We Do For Love’ At Westport Country Playhouse

WESTPORT, Conn. – Alan Ayckbourn’s “Things We Do for Love” shows the difficulties of love and hate, and one woman’s idea that to live alone is better than to compromise, reports the New York Times’ review of the British comedy now playing at the Westport Country Playhouse.

"Things We Do For Love" by Alan Ayckbourn and directed by John Tillinger, is playing at the Westport Country Playhouse through Sept. 7.

With a set by James Noone and direction from Broadway’s John Tillinger, “Things We Do for Love” entertains with physical humor, farce and the witty main character, Barbara, according to the review.

“Things We Do for Love” is currently playing through Sept. 7 at the Westport Country Playhouse, located at 25 Powers Court, Westport.

Tickets are $40-$60. Show times are Wednesday, Sept. 3, through Sunday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m., with an additional show Wednesday at 2 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 6, at 3 p.m.
