Stepping Stones Museum For Children Offers New Summer Camps

NORWALK, Conn.,— Get ready for a sizzling summer of fun an and learning at the museum's new Summer Camp. Campers are invited to explore Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk this summer. Full- and half-day programs are available starting June 20 for children ages 4 and older.

Summer FUN (and Learning) with Stepping Stones

STEAM Central Monday – Friday

• Week of June 20 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

• Week of June 27 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

A week-long exploration of all things related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) with a transportation theme. Not only will campers gain a deeper understanding of STEAM, they will travel through the entire museum, enjoying all the exhibits have to offer.

Animation Station Monday – Friday

• Week of July 11 9:00 am – noon

• Week of July 18 9:00 am – noon

Inspired by the museum’s popular animation program by the same name, Animation Station is a half-day summer program in which children learn the basics of stop motion animation by using an iPad to create their own videos, incorporating storytelling, art and technology. At the end of the series, videos can be downloaded and shared.
