WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Kiwanis Club, with representatives from the Weston and Stamford clubs, along with Wilton club's families and friends, enjoyed a musical luncheon.
Chris Brubeck, son of the famous Dave Brubeck, brought along his "Brothers in Arts" to make the meeting hall echo with music ending with their own rendition of David's classic jazz piece "Take Four."
It was all to celebrate Veterans Day on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
It was a prelude to their appearance with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra at the Clune Auditorium at Wilton High School.
Kiwanis Clubs, located in 80 nations, help their communities in countless ways. Each community’s needs are different—so each Kiwanis Club is different. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.
