Matthew Baird, 18, was supposed to be spending his last summer before college playing for Wiltons Senior Legion team however he has been sidelined with a hamstring injury. Not wanting to be away from the game he loves, Baird decided to help his friend's younger brother Lucas Savoie,13, improve his game. Savoie is learning from one of the best Wilton has to offer as Baird helped lead the Warriors to third in the state among Class L schools hitting second in the order and playing a stellar left field.
