WILTON, Conn. Even with an apartment in Americas most popular city with a view many would envy, Charles Grodin prefers the countryside of Wilton.
The actor and CBS news political commentator says he loves living in Wilton, his home of many years.
I like Wilton so much that I have never once stayed in my apartment in New York, which overlooks the Hudson River," Grodin said. "Even if Im in New York, Ill drive home to be home in Wilton."
Where I live in Wilton, when you look outside, theres nobody there, except maybe a deer or a rabbit. Which youll find, as time goes by, is easier to deal with than people, Grodin said.
Among the things Grodin says he likes about the town are his home on Riverside Drive, where he broadcasts commentaries for CBS News Radio, his wife Eilssa, and its more rural environment. He also enjoys the Red Barn Restaurant in nearby Westport.
