Kids and their parents were treated to an afternoon of games and arts and crafts at the Girl Scouts of Wilton's annual Family Fun Day Carnival on Sunday.

The annual event has taken many different forms over the years, from awards ceremony to picnic to this year's carnival at Trackside Teen Center. Andrea Klancko volunteered to chair the activities because, she said, "I am a little kid at heart and love seeing them have fun."

There was an entrance fee for food to raise money for the Girl Scouts of Connecticut. The Family Day also aimed to raise awareness for scouting. In Fairfield County there are about 45 troops and 450 girl scouts from kindergarten through 12th grade.
