You can't miss the annual sale: A total of 1,500 bright orange pumpkins are spread across the grounds at the Wilton Historical Society at 224 Danbury Road/Route 7.

Wilton Kiwanis member Dave Forslund says there is a pumpkin to please any desire: 1,140 of them are large — and hundreds of others are small. With so many shapes and sizes, you're sure to find what you need for your fall-decorating needs and Halloween fun.

"Helping other is what we do," says Kiwanis. "Buy our pumpkins and you will help, too!"

The sale continues through the month of October, up until Halloween. The Wilton Kiwanis members will restock the pumpkin patch as needed.

The sale continues from noon to 5 p.m. weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends.

The Wilton Kiwanis supports Wilton Social Services, Wilton Food Bank, Wilton Family Y, Wilton Youth Council, Wilton Safe Rides, Stay at Home in Wilton, Wilton Commons, Hurlbut School House, Wilton Historical Society, Wilton Battered Women, ABC House of Wilton, Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Fairfield County, Norwalk River Trail, Wilton Library, Ambler Farm, Child Guidance Center, Bridgeport Rescue Mission, Wilton High School Key Club, Wilton High School Scholarship, Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Bridgeport Veterans Home, Trackside Teen Center, Norwalk Emergency Center and Kiwanis International Charities, and more.
