Her missing poster is placed on the Facebook page for the CT Dog Gone Recovery Volunteer Network.

"She recently had puppies that miss her terribly," says the poster. Lucy, who looks a lot like a Maltese, went missing in Weston near Ridge Road near Norfield Road near Weston Center.

"She is usually in a fenced-in yard and now is nowhere to be found," says the poster. "It is possible someone took her from her yard. Her owner is quite upset and is offering a reward for her safe return — no questions asked."

If you see Lucy or know of her whereabouts, call 917-488-4872 immediately.

Do not chase her, the post said. "We want to keep her safe and chasing her might make her run the other direction and possibly into harm's way."
