WESTPORT, Conn. — The Westport Police Department is trying to help a lost pup find her way home.

This female dog (pictured above) was picked up by passing motorists in the area of Birchwood Country Club on Kings Highway South in Westport. 

She is a small hound or beagle mix — probably about 8 to 12 months old. 

She was wearing a black collar with pink edging when picked up.
