Pumpkin Sale In Wilton To Benefit Several Charities

WILTON, Conn. -- Kiwanis members along with Key Clubbers (the high school arm of Kiwanis) will be selling pumpkins on Saturday at the Wilton Historical Society, at 224 Danbury Road.

Approximately 1,100 pumpkins will be coming from Greensboro, N.C. and are due to arrive about 12:30 p.m. 

The proceeds from the sale of the pumpkins will go towards charities including: American Home Front, Crop Walk, Mid-Fairfield Child Guidance Center, Wilton Library Association, Stay at Home in Wilton, Trackside Teen Center and Safe Rides.

The pumpkin sale will begin as soon as the unloading is complete and will continue weekdays from noon - 5 p.m., and from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on weekends through Oct. 31st.

There will be a wide selection of shapes and sizes available.
