Registration Open For Wilton Family Y Preschool Programs

WILTON, Conn.-- Registration for the Wilton Family YMCA's program classes for preschoolers is now open.

Programs include:

  • The Creative Artists program where children will be introduced to famous artists using various mediums including paint, clay, oil pastels and collage. Classes will be held Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. for children ages 3 to 4 years old. Wednesday classes cost $160 for members and $260 for nonmembers. Thursday classes cost $140 for members and $240 for nonmembers.
  • The Kindergarten Readiness class which will help your child prepare for school by building a foundation of literacy skills through matching sounds and symbols, journals, rhyming and phonics. Classes for 4-year-olds will be held Mondays from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. and cost $120 for members and $220 for nonmembers. The 5-year-old class will be held Tuesdays from 1:15 to 2:25 p.m.
  • The Little Explorers Club for kids ages 3- to 4-years-old will meet Fridays from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. and offer hands-on activities and experiments. Preschoolers will learn about gardening and composting, protecting our environment, animal habitats and life cycles. The cost for Little Explorers registration is $160 for members and $260 for non-members.
