WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Library is set to host Santa Paws on Saturday, Dec. 21.

Santa Paws, a trained therapy dog from the Ridgefield Operation Animal Rescue, will be wearing a costume and will be ready to take pictures at 11 a.m. at the Wilton Library. Tickets will be given out 15 minutes before the program and the first 30 families will be guaranteed a spot.

"In the spirit of the season, families are encouraged to bring a donated item for the shelter," library representatives said. "Acceptable items include chew toys, cat and dog toys and collars."

The Wilton Library is located at 137 Old Ridgefield Road in Wilton.
