WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton League of Women Voters will welcome guest speaker Alicia Kinsman, an attorney from the International Institute of Connecticut, on Friday at 11:15 a.m.
Kinsman will give a presentation on the organization’s work statewide in aiding victims of human trafficking.
The event will take place at the Wilton Library's Rimer Room.
Kinsman, director of victim and trafficking services, has been with the International Institute since 2010. Last year, she received the 2012 FBI Community Leadership Award for her outstanding work with survivors of human trafficking in Connecticut.
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization. They promote understanding of local, state, and national public policy through education and advocacy.
