Toys For Tots Seeks Donations At Wilton Drop-Off Sites

WILTON, Conn. – Various locations in Wilton are accepting donations toward the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program, which gets toys into the hands of less fortunate children during the holiday season.

New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at:

  • Coldwell Banker on 77 Old Ridgefield Road,
  • College Nannies & Tutors at 396 Danbury Road,
  • Cubesmart at 111 Danbury Road,
  • Bruce Bennett Nissan at 978 Danbury Road,
  • Hoffman Landscaping at 647 Danbury Road on Route 7,
  • Rings End at 129 Danbury Road,
  • Starbucks at 21 River Road
  • The Toy Chest at 21 River Road
  • Toozy Patza Pizza at 991 Danbury Road,
  • Wilton Auto & Tire at 210 Danbury Road,
  • Wilton Family Y 404 at Danbury Road, and
  • Wilton Pizza at 202 Town Green.

Donations are also accepted in the form of credit cards and checks. To donate by credit card, click on the "Donate Online” tab on the Toys for Tots website at ridgefield-ct.toysfortots.  

To donate by check, make a check payable to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation and mail it to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, 18251 Quantico Gateway Drive, Triangle, VA 22172.

Families can request toys at charitable organizations such as local Social Services Department, Family and Children’s Aid, or a church. Most agencies and charities will require a copy of the child's birth certificate, proof of residency in the area and some other form to establish need.

The program generally supports children up to the age of 12, but some local campaigns may be able to accept items suitable for kids ages 14 to 16.
