Wilton Girl Performs In Off-Broadway Production Of 'A Little Princess'

WILTON, Conn. - Chloe Smith, a fourth-grader at Cider Mill School in Wilton, and Sadie Seelert, a seventh-grader at Saxe Middle School in New Canaan, are performing In "A Little Princess" during its extended off-Broadway run.

Performances of "A Little Princess," a new musical straight from London, will be held through June 15 at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center, located at 480 W. 42nd St., New York City.

This new adaptation is based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Featuring music and lyrics by Marc Folan and a book by Adam Boden, "A Little Princess" is the adventure of a young girl whose courage is as big as her heart.

Smith, who plays Jane, studies voice and acting at The Studio in New Canaan. She is making her Off-Broadway debut. She recently played Cat in the Hat in The Studio’s "Seussical" and has performed in many shows with Random Farms.

Seelert, who plays Lavinia, studies voice, acting, dance and guitar at The Studio in New Canaan. She made her Broadway debut in "Mary Poppins" at age 9. She can be heard in the Dell Commercial “Annie-The Girl Who Dreamed She Could Fly” and can be seen in the 2015 release of the film "#HORROR."
