Six Summer Saturdays will offer a variety of craft projects, selected by museum educator Allison Reznik, for children ages 4-10. Kids can try their hands at all sorts of projects, including tin-punching, weaving, spoke shaving (barn pegs), clothes pin dolls, quill writing and more.
Six Summer Saturdays craft programs will take place from 11 a.m. to noon June 20 and 27, July 11, 18 and 25 and Aug. 1. The event is free for members, $10 per child for non-members, (maximum $25 per family).
Market Makers will be at the Wilton Farmers’ Market. Parents in search of the perfect vegetable at the Wilton Farmers’ Market on Wednesdays also can give their children an engaging hour at the Market Makers table in front of the Wilton Historical Society.
From 3-4 p.m. every Wednesday, a different craft project or activity will be offered. Activities include herb grinding, spinning and carding, vegetable stamping and cross stitching and more.
