Entertainer Tom Hanford will delight kids of all ages with songs, games and masks from 1 to 2 p.m.

Dressed for the holidays, the society’s historic 18th- and 19th-century buildings are transformed into a train-lovers delight, with eight different train layouts winding through tiny towns with various kinds of buildings, tunnels and two working Ferris wheels.

In a special train room for the youngest guests, there is a Thomas the Tank Engine and a Brio set for hands-on fun.

On Saturday, visit the Great Trains exhibit and enjoy craft time from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., where children can decorate their own holiday wrapping paper.

Admission is $5 per child, maximum $15 per family for members of the historical society; nonmembers pay $10 per child and a maximum of $30 per family.

The Great Trains Exhibit will run from Friday, Nov. 28, through Monday, Jan. 19. The hours are Wednesdays to Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.

The Wilton Historical Society is located at 224 Danbury Road, Route 7.
