The local artist’s works will be on display in more than 80 paintings running through Nov. 28.

Nazzaro, who was born and raised in Connecticut, started drawing with pencil, which remained her only medium for many years. To this day, drawing is the foundation of her work. In the ?80s, she began migrating toward paint and color. Her work evolved with many visits to the Southwest, which in turn led to travels to all the Americas.

Nazzaro has previously exhibited at Wilton Library in a group show in 2006, and has been involved in group and solo exhibitions around the area, including the Ridgefield Guild of Artists, the Westport Art Center and the Silvermine Art Center. She also has exhibited in galleries in New York, New Mexico and Mexico. She is a member of the Silvermine Art Center, Westport Art Center, New Canaan Art Society, Ridgefield Guild of Artists and Kent Art Association.

The majority of the works will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the library. In support of Wilton Library, Nazzaro has selected several paintings of which 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the library.

Wilton Library is at 137 Old Ridgefield Road. For information and directions, visit the library’s website here or call 203-762-3950, ext. 213.
