The 2013-14 annual library report “Path to Innovation,” created by be3 Marketing of Wilton, highlighted the opening of the library’s Innovation Station.

The station allows for patrons to learn skills, exchange ideas and to collaborate and create using a variety of mediums from robotics to quilts. The Innovation Station is designed to keep pace with the evolution of libraries from house materials into an interactive environment where people have access to resources and tools to work and experiment.

The award-winning report -- whose narrative copy was written by Wilton Library Marketing Communications Assistant Kathy Trentos -- stressed the importance of the community support and offered a personal touch of photos and quotes from those who worked to bring the program to fruition.
